With two young children at home, Mckayla Nelson has to work hard catching up with her rowdy boys whether at home or out. So when she brought home Gus, a young Pitbull, it suddenly felt like she had three silly boys to take care of. Now a year and a half, Gus had found the best pals in his brothers and he’s pretty much convinced that he’s one of them.
The trio loves goofing around. They all play together the entire day and rarely seen minding their own businesses. Gus and his human brothers are completely inseparable.
“He quickly stole all our hearts the very second he came home, and he has become best friends with my 2 little boys, Eli, 6, and Zeke, 2,” said Mckayla. Gus’ goofball personality perfectly matched with the boys. And he is seen more like the third son rather than a family pet.
One thing Gus loves doing, whether with his human siblings or not, is to go outside. When he notices any of his family members chilling our without him, Gus becomes extremely jealous and excessively eager to join. And he has the most hilarious way of telling his family he wants out. Well, he does the same thing whenever he wants to be back inside the house.
“He’s a serial window licker,” said Mckayla. No matter which side of their door he’s at, if he seeks attention, Gus will squeeze his face against the glass window, most of the time, with his tongue out. And that is that start of a never-ending entertainment for his family.
One day, Gus saw Zeke outside, playing without him. As expected, he wanted to join in on the fun, so he did his window-licking trick. And that same moment, Mckayla tried to capture his son’s photo. A supposedly cute photograph was made even better with Gus at the background.
Zeke had no clue what was happening behind him. And that made the accidental photo a great one. There’s just so much innocence is that shot.
