Dogs are much like humans in terms of characteristics. They also portray emotions like anger, happiness, and even laziness at times. Dogs are every human’s best buddy. They usually love and care for people they trust. This was the same when a dog thought he was the only child – his name is Gunnar.
Gunnar was like a big baby boo; he doesn’t want to go outside even if it’s sunny or when he hasn’t slept ’till two the day before. He’d be like, “Mmm, nah. Not feeling it today.”
But when his brothers were born, he had become the responsible one. He would read emotions, and he was the first one to know his mother was pregnant. He would lay right in her bump, and a baby brother inside would kick him.
When Wyatt and Lachlan first came home, he knows that they are babies just like him. There was this time when Gunnar came down and saw Wyatt climbing the stairs for the first time. He would follow behind to ensure that if he falls, he will catch him.
He’s super protective. There was one time where Samantha would go to the kitchen and leave the baby in the swing, and he was like, “Oh mom is gone, I guess I’m gonna watch the baby.”
He loves his brother so much and wants to do everything with them. If Wyatt gets into his dad’s lap, Gunnar will, too.
Gunnar and Wyatt have some special connection. They’ll do things together and they’d have conversations. Gunnar likes to imitate everything Wyatt does. When Wyatt is in the wagon, Gunnar is in it, too.
It’s Gunnar’s silly side that his brothers love the most. He loves swimming, but he needs to wear a life vest because he’s so dense. But if you say “pool” or “you wanna go swimming,” he’d run the fastest to go to the pool.
He loves his swing, and he loves blankets. Gunnar has to be there too. He loves being warm and cozy. He is 100% a lap dog; he would sit all day on you. He does not like hardwood, but if it is beside a fireplace, he will sleep right next to it.
His human parents can’t imagine their lives without Gunnar, even if he isn’t going to be around forever. They appreciate that he’s there with them for a moment in their lives.
