In this story, an elderly dad gets a surprise from a couple of states away. His thoughtful family made sure they brought him a furball when they visited. That would make anyone’s day!
This puppy’s fortunate to become part of one that believed in solidarity, and that the distance between them didn’t matter at all.
One fine day, this elderly dad’s daughter, who lived in another state, decided to surprise him. He was pleased to see his daughter and her bunch, but that wasn’t the only surprise.
She carried a puppy in her arms, and the group all gathered around their dad to tell him that this one’s his. The elderly father was touched, and we bet that seeing his kids alone was enough to make him happy, but they took it a step higher.
He teared up a bit when he saw his princess, but we already know that’s gonna happen. What we didn’t expect was the waterworks when the puppy was given to him.
It must get a little lonely when your days are filled with watching people go about their business – especially when you have mobility challenges. So this surprise was timely, and we could say it’s a life-saver.
Lounging and sitting out wouldn’t be boring anymore when you’ve got someone to share it with. This female pup immediately sensed that her dad needed her, so she touched her nose to him.
The family said that it appeared the pup liked him and jokingly said they’d name her Cotton Candy. He laughed and quipped that no, his puppy isn’t gonna be given that name.
The furball went in for a hug, and for this elderly dad, it’s a beautiful memory he’d carry with him until his last days. That’s a long way ahead, dad; you’ll have plenty of time to make new memories, so go for it!
