Have you heard of the canine who could play the piano as it sings along to his tunes? Or maybe the pooch who was so good at balancing stuff on his head that he became an internet star? What about the dog who only responds to Harry Potter spells?
Believe it or not, dogs are pretty intelligent creatures. They can be taught to do nearly anything humans can do. But if your dog has mastered the art of fetching the stick or the ball, this pooch has other stuff on its mind.
Meet Boone, a four-year-old Labrador who has been trained for parties! No, he doesn’t organize the party nor blows up the balloons. He has been prepared for more significant responsibilities that include the beers and the koozies.
Brent Kramer lives with the pooch in Pikeville, Kentucky. They love spending time together as Brent chills with a beer in hand. As natural beer lovers, we all know the struggle of having to get up from your comfy sofa and head to the fridge to grab another can.
So this gave Brent the perfect idea of channeling Boone’s hyperactive energy into many useful things such as fetching the beer. So he tied an easy-to-pull string in his refrigerator door and trained Boone to pull open the fridge and grab him a can of beer from the shelf.
The task was as easy as pie for Boone, and he got the hang of it within an hour. The next part of the training was to teach Boone to fetch the koozie too, which he then learned within a few days. The last part of the training, which involved grabbing the empty cans of beer and throwing them in the garbage, took the duo more than a month to perfect.
That was why when Brent posted the video of Boone’s beer-getting stint on Instagram, it almost immediately gathered thousands of views!
Watch his pretty neat trick here.
I need this dog in my life… imagine never having to get your own beer ever again 🐕🍺
